• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Have you ever "booed" a player/performance?

Owain Tudur Jones against Barnsley(15 or so years ago). We were 2-0 down when he got taken off. As he trudged toward the tunnel, I stood up and shouted what a pile of shyte I thought he was and he looked straight at me. Uh oh I thought, hes going to jump into the stand and batter me now. But sadly his shoulders hunched over and he just looked really hurt. I have to say I felt terrible. As it goes Joe Allen came on and turned the game which finished 2-2 but it was the first time I clocked the effect the crowd can have on the players.

Not one of our players but at Anfield in 2011 where we drew 0-0, in the second half Stewart Downing overran a bit and ended up clattering into the advertising boards right next to where we were. At which point my mate next to me hollered "you're a mediocre Middlesbrough c***. You're not good enough to play for Liverpool".

He definitely heard it, and his face showed it. I was absolutely creased. Barely touched the ball for the rest of the game 😂

I feel like booing myself for turning up to watch the (mostly) dross served up usually.

Bit random, but a valid question. I can honestly say I've never booed anything in my life. A guy who sat in front of me used to do it regularly during our relegation from the Premier League. He never uttered a word all game but would boo at the final whistle towards the end of the season when we won fuk all games.

Voice your opinion to all and sundry, but booing...

Come on, fess up, who's booed anything in thier life?
Nope never ever.
