• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Never mind, just saw that he did. And he scored their goal in normal time.

He was in our academy same time as Dan James et al.

Disappointing this, being beaten by part time local lads.. whilst a few in that team are earning 1k a week, using facilities that have cost millions and even more millions by the owners.. they can't even beat someone who plays it just for a hobby.. this is not the first time our academy lads have underwhelmed.. and they all moan that they haven't been given opportunities for first team involvement.. it's because you can't beat teams that i could have a kick about with mun

Anyway, well done to the baglan aggro lads like Darran.. beating a multi million professional machine.. it shouldn't happen, just like Wales drawing with Gibraltar..

Great memories playing there as a kid.. played footy for Baglan Boys Club and cricket for Baglan CC. Played my first ever men's cricket match there hitting the ball on to the old M4.. the next delivery nearly took my head off 😁

Really poor result to go out in the first round after getting to the final last year.

I saw the starting line up and feared the worst. Symptom of so many eligible u21 players being called up to plug gaps in the first team squad.

You’re from Bags?

Originally from Gorseinon but moved to Baglan moors into the new builds around 1977.. Good memories of playing with and against Darren Gale, Michael Hughes and Colin Pascoe in the schools competitions.

Fantastic. Who was your manager at the boys club?
