• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting line up.

I’d much prefer Smith or Dhanda in there. One of them is solid and brings some sort of control... Dhanda actually looks like he can create something from open play... Hourihane just watched the game pass by with zero influence.

One of the worst midfielders I’ve seen for us, looks 10 seconds behind others

Was extremely excited when he joined, but I’d much rather have Morgan Gibbs White here, Hourihane has been disappointing in play.

Disappointing is an understatement

We've had the new player bounce from him, now needs to be dropped (but that'll be hard if it's true he's on £30K a week). No wonder he wasn't getting game time at Villa.

Disappointed with Hourihane, honestly thought he could be pivotal when we signed him, offers practically nothing bar the odd shot at goal, passing non- existent and seems disinterested most of the time.
Not worth a starting place in a million years.

Been saying for weeks he's poor and upset the balance of the side ,apart from a free kick offers nowt

Id like to add useless.

We don't the have the luxury of accommodating a luxury player!

Don't understand why a player with talent chooses not to work hard - this will limit his career options no doubt.

Hourihane is at his best when a team is on top, when put in a team who relies on positional discipline, he's been found out.

All he needed for the second goal was a fackin high vis and he would have looked the part as a parking attendant waving the cars in. Come along now, there's your space right there in the box, just pop the ball in the net and you're good to go sir. Fakinhell!

earlier in the season we were closing out tight games where in previous seasons we would have conceded late. I put a lot of that down to Korey Smith. Yet Smith has been pushed down the pecking order to accommodate Hourihane.

For me our we play best when Smith , Grimes and Fulton play together, because of the work rate they get through. Hourihane is a luxury player and should be treated as such. Keep him on the bench, if we need a goal late in the game particularly in the play offs, bring him on. If Ayew is fit he's expert at getting free kicks around the box.

Hourihane's defending for Wycombe's 2nd goal was criminal.

Smiths attacking play and control is shocking though
