How much longer?

Honestly there were many positives to take from last night right up until RM decided to give his favourites a run out after 70 mins which sucked out all the pace and energy we had and completely gave the momentum to Sheffield United to attack almost at will until the end of the game.

Why sign attacking players with pace and creativity if he doesnt intend to use them?

While some may say that Naughton was culpable (and there is some argument for that) ultimately the blame for me lays with RM and his substitutions.

He’s getting sacked one way of another.

How long will it take. No improvement, no signs of improvement, players of less and less quality signed at every opportunity - there really is absolutely nothing to look forward to at the moment and we have to be realistic and pragmatic.

How long before someone pulls the trigger? Good knows who we’re gonna end up with next time.

"players of less and less quality signed at every opportunity"

Those decisions are being made from across the pond, I doubt Martin got any control of that, what he has got some control of or total control of is those players that have been put out to grass without them being given a fair opportunity, seems like he doesn't want to coach those player's and the squad is crying out for pace and those ironically have that pace.

He's all but gone already isn't he.
This recent overhaul in system, personnel and drive has been thrust upon him from above and below.

He's not just lost his plot, his dressing room and most sensible fans. More importantly he's lost all credibility. Brand Martin is on the scrapheap where it always belonged.

And it's now in the relegation zone too!

Win on Saturday and it's 7 points from 4 games - play off form.

Also, if we do win, if we'd not conceded two stupid last minute goals or taken some golden chances (I know, Auntie and all that balls) then it would be 7 from three and 10 from 4.

The bullshitter would have a right to feel very aggrieved if he was sacked after that.

If he feels like that Mony, them he's welcome to sit in my seat and watch the constant capitulation.

Based on ten minutes of highlights I hope Ollie plays as well again and gets 90 minutes under his belt. I would also like to see Congreve back and Oko given more of a run.

We should play Wood and Cabango as centre halves and Benda behind them. This is the most certain way to avoid fannying around at the back in the relegation zone.

We need points, I can see us getting them with a tweak here and there and less of the rhetoric. Rumbling on after Sheffield and Kyle's undoing by a striker we know well is not acceptable, he got beat, it happens.

Knuckle down and bounce back. Make a few changes and learn from them.

I know, but for all that we're in a decent run of form if we win on Saturday. The table is irrelevant at the moment. Coule of wins and you're top ten. Current form is the horse to back.

I do think someone has forced the current form on him, mind you. If these suicide injury time disasters continue, then our form won't be good for long, but as I said, sacking him now would be bizarre unless Hull turn us over, because I think they will be at the arse end, come May.

I'd say 'unless Hull turn us over' means Hull beat us by a big score rather than edging it by 1 goal or similar, but Monny can speak for himself.

For what it's worth, I agree with him. Martin and the club will point to a win and a very narrow loss to the league leaders since 'the process' was apparently abandoned.

Given the financial implications, I don't think he gets the sack unless we're in the relegation places when the World Cup break starts, or if we get absolutely humbled in a few games (meaning four or five goal defeats) which would probably tell them he's lost the dressing room at that point.

Well that cuts it fine then for someone else to come in and keep us up . for me the manager has already proven that he has no idea how to play good football and win.
