• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Played through the speakers...

f**k off is it.

Absolutely cringeworthy.

And while we are at it, what's the new penalty shoot out all about? Most of the kids taking them can't lift the ball high enough to kick it through a hole. And another thing while I'm on my horse , i deliberately walked around the stadium today and only ladies bags were being searched in the west and south stands prior to entry to the ground, everyone else was ushered in no problem, yet everyone in the East stand is continually searched every home match. That is not right. Are they trying to say that we are different to those in any other part of the ground?

I find it impossible to understand why the Liberty is still an intenet dead zone.

For what it's worth, I switched over the summer to Vodaphone with pixel 6 with 5g capability and since then, the interweb at the stadium works like a dream. Beforehand it was useless unless I switched the signal to 3g instead of 4g. May be worth trying that.

Someone else gave me that tip last season so I do that and it’s better but still very hit and miss.

The whole “experience” is shite.
Overpriced food and drink, served by complete buffoons, tv’s that aren’t turned on in the concourse, no hot water in the gents toilets. I could go on but can’t be arsed.
Next level my ring.
Coupled with the guff on the pitch today I couldn’t wait to get out of the place.

The new guy that served me when I got in had to ask his colleague next door how to make a white coffee.

Has always been so even back to the early days of the stadium when us unwashed people on the East had to take tops off our bottles but they didnt have to do it in the West

When the weather turns I may ask for a white Bovril and watch the place implode.

I've tried that 4g down to 3g for years, it's probably worked 2 or 3 times. Still keep trying it though

Many years back one of the people they had there tried to convince my brother that Bovril was the equivalent of a black coffee.

Istill wonder how one place can be so continually successful at employing naturally stupid people

On and off the pitch...

I'm glad i don't eat or drink at the stadium, that would probably push me over the edge

I cant afford to eat there the bank turned me down for the mortgage to do so

Happy bunch tonight mind aren’t we. Get drunk boys. It’s for the best.

On another note and I saw it mentioned a few weeks ago my son wanted the junior jack's meal today and was told that it was £5 with the presentation of a junior jack's card.

I said we didn't have one so would pay whatever it was without the card. But it's not available to purchase unless you're a junior jack.

Have you ever heard such bollocks?

It's the least of our problems.

None of these sort of things matter if the team is winning and entertaining us.

That tells you much about how detached the club is from the fans

Right on top of their extortionate price increases for attendance this season
