I just can’t see a Southampton move for midfielders

I’d happily drive Grimes there. I know opinion is divided with him on two extremes, there’s no middle ground.
Yes, he keeps things ticking, but he was also a big problem with our static play at times, slowing things down.

Did he not come in to Martin's squad because Downes was sold, Smith left, and both Allen and Walsh started the season injured?

Who knows, it could have played a part. Although he had a long absence in the autumn through to the winter when all those things were still true. He only returned after the January window and has been picked consistently by Martin since.

Not sure about that, according to soccerbase he played in 38 league games and 3 cup games.

Are we still talking about Fulton? Because he played through autumn and winter, and fell away towards the end of the season with injury and the form of Ntcham and Cundle.

I think we're talking about the same player, but different seasons.

Jasper isn't a fan of Jay, Chief, think he must have jumped in front of him at a Bar somewhere :D

Season before is when fulton had a lengthy absence and was then brought back in in January.
