• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I like the look of them. Come on can't hold a grudge forever. They deserved to beat us, they deserve their 15 minutes of fame. They are playing a nice brand of footy. I think they will be fine this season. They look better than Arse anyway 🤣. Why have they left all their best players out? That balogun looks a pile of tripe. If Hounslow manage this the morons on that arse fan tv thing will be hilarious.

In every way except cold cash, I'm bloody glad it's not Arsenal vs Cooperwang.

All that said, that Raya gimp and Canos the diver (had to be him, that's why I love football) get right on my tits.

If Brentford didn't have that complete @rse as a manager I'd agree but ...
To be fair to Balogun he's their 4th choice centre forward making his league debut. Aubameyang & Lacazette are missing through illness & Nketiah is injured.

It's not just bug eyes though is it, thier fans are a bunch of jumped up oddballs too, especially the ones who thought it a good idea to try and beat up (and failed miserably) a bunch of oldies sat in a pub in Briton Ferry

Yeah, you have a point there 😁

Swansea would have got thumped by Arsenal tonight.
It’s all Brentford, we knew that before we even turned up at Wembley a few months ago. Like lambs to the slaughter. With our motionless manager on the touch line looking lost and our players not wanting to take a single shot on target.

Fuck Brentford

Well done to Brentford. A good team playing attractive football and with friendly fans. I hope to go to their stadium at least a couple of times this season and that they survive. And their stadium doesn't have a stupid name.

They played good attractive football and deserved their win.
If we have somehow fluked it with Cooper, we would have got whipped every week.
They deserved their win at Wembley.
Did us a favour really as we are making a fresh start under Russell Martin and enjoyed it much more than anything under Cooper

Their Stadium name is similar to ours.

Swansea.com stadium

Brentford community stadium.

Have to say that despite feeling a sense of dislike of their fans & manager, with 5+ minutes left on the clock & 2-0 up Frank decided to throw on another attacker instead of trying to shut up shop.

This kept Arsenal on the backfoot & took pressure off his defence. Frank said last week that he intends to attack the premier league & we all know (except Cooper) that the best form of defence is attack.

Obviously tougher games ahead for them but fair play, they deserved the result.

Particularly liked their second goal, a Delap-esque long throw into the box with Jansson holding on to the keeper. Tactical genius ... they do play in the same colours as Stoke City I suppose
