• We have today (22nd April) confirmed the closure of JackArmy.net on 31st May. Our reasons are varied but after a twenty-five year stint at the heart of the online Swansea City community, the time is right for us to bow out.

Always remember the pride watching MOTD and pundits having Swansea as their second favourite team. It was a glorious time. I don’t think it’s impossible we can rise again but it’ll be in a different guise. Football evolves.

Absolutely we can rise again, we nearly made it back twice under Cooper. I know the championship is a decent level (spent most of my teenage years watching third and fourth division football) but we can't lack ambition to get in the Premier league. Hate people saying they would be happy with mid table finishes, particularly this early in the season, got to have ambition and hope ,it's what keeps us turning up week in week out.

I know what you mean, We were a bit special, weren't we? Don't think I'll see anything like that again in my lifetime, just grateful to have seen it once.
What an incredible video - and what a player Michu was. So many memories - but I would encourage anyone to take a second look at the second Swans goal in the away win at the Emirates.
Watch the way Michu's blood turns to ice in his veins and he literally slows down before putting the gunners to death - absolute class!
It was so cruel that we were denied a few more seasons of Michu and a transfer fee that would have been off the scale. One of the best to ever wear the shirt without doubt.

My personal favourite Michu goal was his second on his debut at QPR. Unbelievable skill and yes what an unbelievable era.

We need to see this ruthlessness again in the team. A fearlessness. A brilliance.... Constantly forward, attacking play.

I feel optimistic that we can achieve great things with the team we have today. However, we need to see much improved physicality and an opportunistic, predatory mindset become second nature. It begins with confidence from the manager down and I'm hopeful Sheehan can instill this.
