• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Idah

There'll be plenty of time for him to start, it's a long season. You don't drop the in form player so the new guy can get some minutes
It is but he needs to be doing better and quickly.

He doesn't seem to hold the ball up, his touch his poor and I haven't seen him win a header yet.
It wasn't great again from him in his appearance today but he wasn't alone.

He’s not started a league game yet due to Vipotniks form. I feel Idah has the fans against him from the start which is terrible really.
I'm not saying that's incorrect but if that is the case then he's not helping himself in the situation.

He needs to get working hard on the training ground if he wants his fortunes to change.

You do know he’s played a grand total of 52 minutes of league football don’t you?

For us yes plus the cup game at home v Forest.

I'm yet to see anything that can encourage me, I would have hoped to have seen something in over 100mins of football especially given he could cost us up to a reported 7M.

But that’s the only team you should be judging him for. He scored 20 for Celtic last season including Champions League goals and Cup Finals. He’s played 54 league minutes for us off the bench and his only start coming against a Premier League team in the cup. Fans need to get behind him not write him off before he’s even got going.

Christ give the bloke a chance
I'm really prepared to do so if he starts showing something to encourage me.

I get that it's early, that is something that I'm hoping on but I am not confident in it at present.

Yes, a lot of moaning and groaning at him today which I feel was justified but totally understand what you say regards getting behind him.

He needs to contribute to it though.

It’s a long season. At least we have a second striker now and I’m sure we’ll get to see more from him as time goes on.

This. It’s far too early. His confidence seems to be shot after his Celtic experience. The last thing he needs is people getting on his back. Give him a chance FFS.

Far, far too early to judge and call him a dud.
The fee paid is nothing to do with him. If, eventually, he turns out to be a dud then the blame lies with the "state of the art, best in class recruitment team".

Only a few weeks ago, at the last day of the transfer window, dozens of posts were written, full of fear that he will stay at Celtic…

He wasn’t part of the pre season, and even worse for him, VIP forgot how NOT to score. Time and patience is needed here.

We've been robbed badly
Totally agree, that 12 minutes today totally goes against our really good recruitment team.

Funny how you don't post when things are going well, you massive dosser.
