• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I'm pleased it is Brentford

I'm not Phil. Apart from the pain of losing to that arrogant, gum chewing relic of the 70's hairstyled kn@b, I think they're too strong. Think Frank v Cooper, tactically. Mind you, the joy of beating him, sorry them...

Can't get to a final by avoiding all the strongest teams. I'm so glad that we avoided Bournemouth. As for Brentford, it's too close to call: either we win 2-1 or they win 0-4 and I think that both is equally likely.

Its a long shot sure but we have a punchers chance. Lets just hope we swing a few. Fortune favours the brave etc.

We’ll certainly give Brentford something different to think about than Bournemouth.

Guehi and Cabango are immovable objects at the moment.... we’ll certainly be difficult for them to break down... and I’ve got a feeling Lowe and Ayew will do the business.

Brentford will think they're in the Premier League already. A false sense of security is a very dangerous thing in football. This is something Brentford have failed to grasp in one playoffs campaign after the other. Frank's sheer arrogance and unwavering confidence in his abilities could mean he'll fail to learn the lesson once again on Saturday.

Why are people so obsessed with the Brentford forum?? I know their fans aren't my cup of tea but people are harping on about them constantly!
:D
How many separate threads on us is it now??!!
7?? 8?? 9??
😁😁

That's quite an irony from the bloke that keeps coming back...

There is little doubt that fans of both Brentford and Bournemouth thought that their semi final was the "real" final. The media helped that belief on as well.

If we ever needed motivation then that is it and we can hope that they believed it as well.

It sounds as if Kyle picked up a knock which is a tragedy but lets hope I am wrong, Roberts is one hell of a player though Steve has changed the formation to pick up results and a few players aka Bennett, Roberts, Dhanda, Smith are missing out a little, however Conor is a match winner and it will with any luck be his day at Wembley

If Kyle is out, probably Bennet and Roberts back in with a return to a back five. That may be the plan for the final in any case.

Last four games, won 1 each, drawn 2.

As long as we don't go into the 'please don't hurt us' kitten mode of the last game, or the 'just walk through us while we hold the door open' mode of the second play off we have every chance to nail these arrogant shitheads.

Win or lose I hope we kick seven shades of sh*t out of them.

Connor will be up for it. Hope we win and it would be worth the three match Premiet League ban for him to butt Frank. Either him or Tate
