• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

10/12 weeks. Not far off out for the season.

Will leave that one there.

Read that earlier, not sure how much is in it but seems like a lot of potential in him if true.

Regards Inoussa, it was known he would be out for a while hence the quick move on this kid from Brentford.
I think that there is hell of a lot going on in the background and I think it's known that a defender, midfielder(winger or creative) and a striker is needed in the last few days in the window.
Looks like they are trying to clear the decks to get the work done with Nzingo and Benson leaving with rumours of Wales and Key going out on loan.

If no one important leaves we don’t need to risk spending money in the crazy January window at all. We’ve got more than enough to stay up with comfort.

Let Matos finish the season and assess the squad when he’s got twice as much information than he has so far. Then plan for next season.

Only need to spend if the opportunity is good plus they would have the option to loan and then buy in the summer.

Loans would certainly be the best option but there appears to be a permanent signing in the pipeline.

Can we keep the ten-players-need-to-be-signed-in the-last-10-minutes daps-wetting transfer hysteria in the one jan transfer thread please, so I don’t have to avoid multiple ones. Ta.

As to Inoussa, shame for him, but has been very marginal up to now. Eom or, gulp, Ronald, would be missed more.

Blame Smurph, he took it off course 😁

Yes, it's a shame for Inoussa and it's a recurrence of a knock he had prior to signing for us. They knew it was likely a season ending one or close to it hence the quick move for Nunes.
Hopefully he comes back better and stronger next season with a years experience under his belt.

Awful signing so far. No loss playing wise that hes out but investment wise this injury is a disaster.

Just out of interest were you slagging Vipotnik off, last season?

Can’t be arsed to look and more than likely know the answer.

Patience certainly isn’t one of your personality traits.

What I find refreshing is that as an example last Saturday the starting 11 were OUR players, that was/is a huge improvement on previous seasons and shows that the club is moving in the right direction.

It's perfectly reasonable to criticise players when they're shit and praise them when they're good.
When attending games I'd prefer to hold criticism until the final whistle and try encouragement and support during the game.
