• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

You’re not wrong, she’s an idiot. I’d be annoyed but there’s only so you can do in situations like that.

Whilst the protestors are obstructing the highway, her actions are crazy and she’s committing an offence that potentially amounts to a prosecution for dangerous driving. If the protestors are injured by the drivers actions, it’s a reportable Road Traffic accident, a potential police investigation and an insurance claim against her and pay out. She may get her policy cancelled and find she can’t get insurance going forward.

A lot of people already know this but a week ago Sunday I had to rush my special needs daughter Amy into Morriston Hospital unable to breathe and after she got there she was diagnosed with pneumonia and came home after six nights on Saturday afternoon.

They would not have sat down in front of me.

Stupid f*cking c*nts.

Instagram "celebrity" see. More hits for her, more money / freebies.

As terrible as those protests are, that woman should 100% lose her licence and be prosecuted.

If you willingly sit in the middle of a road and you aren't disabled/incapacitated in some way, you really can't complain about being hit by a car in my opinion.

These protestors need to be shown that sitting in the middle of a busy road is a bit, you know, dangerous. The problem is they know they can do it without any fear at all of being hit or injured (by a car or otherwise). Far too soft around them.

Thankfully your opinion doesn't count for a jot in the legal profession.

There are other ways to deal with these people, without resorting to injuring or killing them. Have a word with yourself.

I don’t for 1 minute condone what they are doing, but anyone who deliberately drives at or injures 1 of them is looking at police intervention and possibly Court whether that’s for a driving offence or assault. That woman may well end up in Court and then not being able to get car insurance. It’s a big price to pay.

As alluded to I hope Amy is feeling better 🤞👍

Well there’s a level of bumping them out of the way Dick and getting your 11 year old kid to school is very low.

Thanks.

There are other ways to make a point than block emergency services and children travelling for urgent cancer treatment, etc.

I don't condone injury or aggression - on either sides. It's a stupid way to protest.

I'm sure you've heard about the lady who had a stroke and had further complications due to these protests. That is far more than any damage the public have inflicted on the protesters.
