Richmond...Britain's Favourite Sausage

"Try the Tesco Finest, Jalapeno and cheese sausages, absolutely delicious."

That line, from the poster that posted it makes me think mmmmmmmm, nom ,nom! ... But I've, for all intents and purposes, mostly cut sausages out of my diet. They are a once a year thing at most (winter).

Mind you, I could allocate December 2022 to July!

Creative in the kitchen i am not. I eat a lot of meat and fish, and that's about it.

I'll see what's on offer on Amazon Prime day.

The Ninja range are the best.

I concur.
With the grill for burgers and sausages. Fantastic. Rarely use the main oven

The Ninja range, that sounds like pound notes to me!

I will be buying a happy shopper version, as I know I'll use it once or twice before it rots in the back of the cupboard.

Think I had it from Amazon, I shopped around online for same model and they came out cheaper, all be it around a tenner.

They shouldn't be allowed to be called sausages due to only having something like 40% meat in them.

Can't be doing Jalapeno's they turn my guts, love cheese though. :D

Did Jackfath ever get hold of his sausages from Castell Howell.

Got to love a good sausage

A recommendation from yourself is worth considering. Seems I'll have to move December to July.🤐

This very day I ordered a sausage and egg butty at Wildflower Cafe. The sausage - Cumberland if I'm not mistaken - was absolutely sublime.

Forgive Brexit

Forgive countless years of Tory austerity and corruption.

Forgive Donald Trump, and Bolsonaro for digging up the Amazon.

Forgive Putin for being a heartless c**t.

Forgive Mankind for expanding so relentlessly in number that their energy and food demands threatens all life on Earth.

..but I cannot forgive the British public for making tasteless tubes of pigs arseholes, eyelids and industrial dust, officially 'Britain's Favourite Sausage'!

The UK is officially fckd up mun.!

Don't worry about it Bryn. The public sheep are blinded by brand names. If Richmond is the only sausage brand they know, they will assume it must be the best and buy it. My Mrs watches a TV prog which includes blind taste tests on various food products. Most of the participants buy the market leading brand and think it's the best because they've heard of it and have never bought anything else but it's quite often a Lidl, Aldi or supermarket own brand which comes out on top probably at half the price.

They’re the only sausages Mrs ECB will eat. The only way to cook them without them falling apart is an air fryer. Which, incidentally, is the best way to cook any sausage.

Wimmin eh. Mine is similarly wrong. Must be genetic.

Naughty corner for you...but there may be some truth in that.

Edit for clarification....Our view that our wives are wrong...to me they are. Other views are available...but equally incorrect 🤣

When you cook sausages in an air fryer, do you reduce the temperature and the cooking time, or do you use the same settings as in the oven?

I think the air fryer uses half the cooking time of a conventional oven - I could be wrong though.
