Not that I'm condoning the conduct of the Catholic Church or the Church of England, the last I looked, no-one from either Church is looking to reduce the age of consent to 9.

I can understand your concern that this Country, as a lot of others, that don't protect children enough.

I don't understand the whataboutary when the discussion is talking about a Country where the religious zealots are looking to change the legal age so children can be legally abused.

Myself, I'm not religious, dislike all of them but you are comparing for some unknown reason one religious lot who had some members abuse kids and was covered up by senior members and another religious lot making the abuse legal.
