I’ve had 3 calls in 3 days from “Microsoft” telling me to switch on my computer an they I’ll explain how to fix a problem which scammers could exploit. I told them I had a Mac and they said they could sort that out as well.

There's a BT one that's doing the rounds. The call can come after 7am and some bloke on the line says "you reported a fault with your internet we can control it from here so give us your details"

Happened 3 mornings on the trot to a work colleague.... ..3rd phone call he slammed the phone down after yelling "fuck you"

Phone rang back later and the downtrodden scammer said " fuck you too"
