Talk about someone who is clueless. Look this is not a thread to attack or defend Coleman or higher ups. Well to some extent.

But anyone who wants to watch someone running a club who is so out of touch with reality then go watch his interview with Gary Neville.

Saving 40k a year just to save money, rather than supporting former players association. Who have given back to community and the club. Crazy.

Anyone interested check out time stamp: 14:39

Seemed like a decent interview to me. I'd take him in a heartbeat over Coleman & Co.
Really. Strange how we all perceive people differently. Thought he came across as fumbling and wasn't thinking about his employees just the money. Yes they all do, these rich folk but thought he was dilliuded.

The Glazers must be laughing their bollocks off, Ratcliffe has taken all the pressure and flack off them, whilst still raking in the millions, you couldn't script it any better.

Yet if you look on the BBC Football Gossip page they're in for loads of players total value close to a billion on more 😂
Amorim be rinsing them next for his payoff 😂

Didn't you know. Ratcliffe recons they was on track to run out of money, yet less than 24 hours later they announce a new stadium. How that works I have 0 idea. Crazy world. I have read mixed feedback on other sites, and some are saying they undertand about the food situation and ex players costs etc. My thoughts are look after the people around you and those who are loyal, his idea that he puts money first like Glazzers is exsactly why the club is in its situation. Greedy, and just a money bank. I don't usually comment much on other teams, but it's a reminder that we could have far worse.

Reeves has probably given them a legup thanks to the disability benefit cuts

United employed about 400 more staff than any other Premier League club, the workforce was bloated and needed to be streamlined to reduce costs on that side of the business. The fault lies with those who allowed the costs to spiral, not with those who are having to bring them back into line.

They are looking for investors to help fund the new stadium, which they will get via sponsorship etc. INEOS may end up part funding the stadium as well. It's a completely separate stream of funding to the one which pays the wages of the employees.

The general feeling was that the club was being seen as a cash cow by too many people, which led to the lowering of standards throughout the club and has resulted in it being where it is at the moment.

The money has basically run out (mainly thanks to the club having paid over £1 billion in interest payments on the loans the Glazers took out to buy and run the club), which can be seen in their published accounts. As I said, INEOS are being tasked with turning the whole club around, both on and off the pitch because it has been so poorly run for so long

The Glazers are still raping the place every year though, how he stops that is another conundrum, think l heard/read that it’s around 50 million a year 🙈

Exactly.
The problem is that they're still majority shareholders so, if Ratcliffe manages to improve the club and increase its value, all he's doing is making it more expensive for him to buy more equity in the club.

The Glazers pulled a blinder of a business deal, they've made hundreds of millions from no investment whatsoever and have literally bled the club dry. It was such a corrupt deal that it is no longer allowed by the Premier League
