I feel we have to be honest here.
Jay has been a great servant to the club and has been reliable for many managers.
He has though, had some absolute stinkers!
He is very technical, strong, can win a header etc but has been asked to play, martinwillyball which I believe has ruined a load of our players.
I can’t help but be disappointed if I see him in theo e up or being subbed on, but that is down the the performances he has put in.

Under Matos though he has come on and done well as a sub. When he started the other week though I thought he was very poor.

Think he can be a us sub this year to steady the ship when needs be.
Or smash in the odd worldie

Ps players tend to become escaped goats for a reason, because they lose the ball continuously in silly positions, play hospital passes a couple of times a game, lazy etc etc.
I’m not saying this is jay, but he has some of these attributes, as does, Key, Burgess, to name a few.
If they learn and grow then they escape being the next goat

That is me being honest!
Sometimes I feel he played well and sometimes like crap
I can see why some people get hysterical about him

Every player has bad games. Problems arise when people start pretending that some players have more than others, or doing their best to deny when a player has played well. Fulton has been subject to far more than his fair share of both IMO.

None of this is to say that he's a brilliant player. Not even he would lay claim to that. He is what he is. A solid pro and capable Championship midfielder. Better in a physical battle than in a free flowing pass fest, but rarely lets us down either way.

I don't think it's too much to ask for him to be ackowledged as such, instead of having people claim that they're "disappointed if I see him in theo e up or being subbed on".

I agree with most of that, however these are my own emotions that I can’t deny feeling.
In my post I have acknowledged him as a pro and a decent footballer at times.
I claim that I am disappointed when he is being subbed on as this is my truth. I do not shout it from the stands it is in my head harming no one.
The last few games though, when he has been subbed on he has proved me wrong.
I acknowledge that also.
Being a swans fan and with all the ups and downs we experience over the years will make me more emotional during a game and I am within my right to feel any of these emotions.

I stated in another thread that Fulton had been " ok " in his last few appearances in response to someone slagging him off and now we have a 7 page fulton love-in, lets get things into perspective he is millon percent more likely to get a yellow card than a goal involvement for the rest of the season.

Along with Cooper he let us down in the biggest match we had for years at Wembley.

Not a love in at all mate, just appreciation for and honest pro who's given us decent service for the price. You'd swear he'd mugged a granny or something judging by the bile posted by some "supporters" on here.

Where’s the love in? Stop being dramatic. And Stamenic is far more likely to pick up yellows. Where’s your concern over him?

He deserved to be sent off at Wembley but he was unlucky in that he slipped, nothing more than that.
Decent enough player but he was given a way too generous contract, not his fault & you can't blame him for signing it - you can blame Cooper for pushing for it.
