It was mentioned that Bale came off because of a hamstring issue.

Was anything said about Joe?

Joe said when he was coming off “it’s gone”

Russ should hammer page in his first press conference.

I honestly can't see him playing for us again, I think the announcement of his retirement is about to appear over the horizon sadly.

RM - No new injury.

Now it could be a play on words as no NEW injury, could it be his old injury playing up?

That's very misleading if that is a play on words by Martin he's to take a look at himself in the mirror, I hope its not.

So do I, maybe nothing in it, but it wouldn't be the first time that we are told a player is fit, but then out for a few more games.

Let's hope it is what it says on the tin, we need him playing.

I'm not sure what'll happen, he ran his socks off last night and hopefully it was just fatigue that forced him off, that said I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see taking the field for us until after Christmas, at least to be honest, that's my glass half empty opinion though

Only played in 8 league games for us, only 2 of them for 90 mins, subbed in the other 6. Been a great player for us in the past, but it was a signing from the heart not the head, getting him back. Would like to see him retire before he tarnishes anymore his outstanding reputation.

I actually thought he looked decent against England.

If he is fit he will make a difference to our midfield.

Don't see Allen offering anything more than Grimes Fulton and Cundle does currently

Now think back a few years. Your view on a certain other defensive midfielder was flawed 👍

A fit Joe made sense when we brought him in (Downes replacement). Since then his lack of fitness gave Fulton a chance and he has really stepped up. We need both fit ideally. I don't think Joe will be anything but fragile ever again, but he still offers a good championship option when he's not broken.

Little Joey gifted Iran two goals. Two goals Ampadu was unlikely to gift had he not been replaced by little Joey.

Little Joey, even on his tippy toes was absolutely the target for Rashford's freekick goal. Why the heck didn't he jump ?

Little Joey Morrell managed to anchor where littler Joey Allen couldn't.

All on the World stage.

Joe Allen was World Class and one of our very best Swans. Like many others this was a stretch too far for little Joey of Narberth.

Perspective, is all.

Let's be honest, absolutely nobody came out of this shitshower smelling of roses, a bridge too far...

Agreed.

The focus here though is oh too Little Joey.

Little Joey failed, abysmally. And he cost us. Three goals, at least.
