• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Agreed.

The focus here though is oh too Little Joey.

Little Joey failed, abysmally. And he cost us. Three goals, at least.

Aye, it was probably little Joey's fault that Page decided to hand out squad numbers to geriatric league 2 players out of sentiment too, instead of integrating youngsters into the group for valuable experience for the future.
Absolutely no winners from this shitshow, agree?...

Agreed re no winners, yet this thread is about Little Joey, no ?

A player way out of his depth, humiliated, rag-dolled against teenager 19yr old Jude Bellingham.

A battle which encapsulated everything, in so many ways, unfortunately.

Little Joey was way out his depth.

We need a way forward, way beyond Little Joey..........

Also..
Bale
Ramsey
Henessey
Gumter
Williams
Daniel James
Wilson
Mepham...
A poor, aging squad, coupled with talentless mid 20'ish players, at least little Joe had an excuse for being crocked before he boarded the plane.
No winners.

Eh ?

This thread isn't about 'Gumter' et al, mun.

It's the Little Joey thread. The Little Joey who didn't show up.

Constructive critique of Little Joey shows he fell way 'short', in so many ways. Too often.

Yes, a 19yr old Jude Bellingham, who is bordering World Class and worth 120 million plus.

Joe Allen wasn't fit and has proved to have been a major asset to Wales and the clubs he's played for Swansea City included, out of his depth dear me.
