• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Another sportsman who has gone to play Golf and has broken his leg, glad I fuked golf off when I did all those years ago now :D

On a serious note, I'm gutted for him he was in tremendous form and must have been really looking forward to those games etc. :(

Yes, but maybe Karma for not playing for the Welsh Fire. 😉

Don't blame him, he left it till night before and weighed up the overall ability of the team after training session's [assuming they had any of course] and probably thought fuk this and got out of dodge.

How does one break a leg 'playing' golf?

Did someone twat him or did he go for a tumble in the bunker

I once dislocated my knee putting a shoe on and spent six weeks in plaster. It can happen in even the most innocuous situations even to prime athletes like me and ginger Johnny.

Freak injury. It happens.
I once pulled a cup out of a dishwasher in work and it shattered in my hand! I had to miss spam javelin throwing for a week!!!

But serious he's been outstanding and great to watch.
I'd like to see Jacks , Hales or Smeed called up.

Trying to get out of the buggy before it's stopped ?

Done my back in after my foot slipped off the curb, fuk my eyes, was off work for weeks, pain was horrific.
