• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I like him defensively but when we work him into good positions, it comes to nothing. Which really shows up his limitations

Part of the problem is that Ronald gives him nothing to work with. He was able to play forward more often with Benson offering a forward option. That’s only part of the problem though.

Holds on to the ball for far too long for my liking, especially in dangerous areas. Cabango had a right pop at him today for doing so.

Regarding key: he needs to be dropped. I would be glad to see Parker given a run for a few games. He has a higher ceiling and of course, speed, even if it will cost us to a certain level.

Edit: with Ronald finding himself more and more in the middle of our attack, it exposes Key’s weaknesses even more.

We need an upgrade at right back, he's not good enough at this level.

You can almost see the fear in his eyes when someone runs at him. He's low on confidence and needs to be taken out of the firing line for a while. There's a decent player there still.
I actually don't think he is low on confidence he just isn't good at defending. He has at times very good attacking mindset, but he gets more wrong than right. Is Parker the answer? Personally no. It's an area I would be looking to sort out in January.

What’s Connor Roberts up to?

Or we could play Casey there
