Wondering if anyone’s heard same. A friend of mine who supports them seems to think he’s on his way there but not seen it mentioned anywhere from our side of things.

If he wasn't going to get a bite at the first team cherry then a loan was a no brainer.
If he can kick on for Newport this season then that would put him in a really strong position for next season to break into the first team.
