About the shocking performance yesterday by Tim Robinson. All to often, especially this season we’ve had a poor standard of referee. I understand they’re human, and fallible to the odd mistake, but the consistent of his poor decisions was frightening. He also looked a bit overweight for my liking. Is this the best the FA can offer? These are professionals on a good salary. I think the more fans complain, the better the outcome, as surely the referees at the FA would have to up their game.

Someone was telling me yesterday at the game, that he was the ref that awarded 3 i think he said, penalties against us when we played Fulham a few years ago.

But yeah, he was an appalling ref, and hopefully there was an assessor in the crowd.

VAR in the championship has to be the way forward. Too much money at stake now.

But it’s the same incompetent officials who will be operating VAR.

Agree with Saint, but also agree with you.

VAR needs an overhaul, one of the first things they should do is speak with their counterparts at the Rugby Union. They won't though, too pig headed.

Having watched the highlights a couple times, how he hasn’t sent their keeper off I don’t know, as blatant foul and denial of a goal scoring opportunity as you’ll ever see, the handball just as bad, you can see in Davies face even he thinks the ref is going to give it. Their penalty shout at the end is soft, their guy has as much of Cabango’s shirt as Cabango has his. Terrible terrible referee, but as usual, nothing will happen and he’ll be in the championship again on Friday no doubt.

Got to laugh... Watched Rooneys post match and all he could moan about was their missed pen!

I think that this was the Fulham game referred to.
Same ref as yesterday.
