Do we think that Josh Key will play mainly left back this season - with Ashby coming in as right back and Key being mainly used in pre season off the left so far… maybe we’re not so desperate for a new left back after all?

Ogbeta should be back to fitness within a couple of months … I’d be more than happy having Key / Ogbeta as options form the left … and Ashby / Naughton / Key as options off the right.

I would still be looking at a LWB, once we get Rushworth, Ashby and Pedersen in then I think a LWB is the final piece for me.
If we lose anyone then they will need to be replaced, my concern is that this Ukrainian striker is Piroe's replacement......if we lose Piroe, Ntcham or any other top players then we need top ready made replacements.

I think Pederson isn’t a natural attacking wing back… better as an option for left centre back.

Key has done really well at left wing back so far… I’d be happy with him and Ogbeta.

I’d imagine we’d want Key playing every week rather than developing a talent for someone else

Interesting to read that Pedersen could be used as a left of a 3 and a link with Humphreys at Rotherham.....could suggest that we might be losing Wood or Cabango?

Remember, we've now also got the introduction of Abdulai who has looked more than comfortable playing right and left wing back.

Almost certainly not, I think this is very clear stop gap until we get a natural left sided player in.

Then it will be up to Key and Ashby to fight it out for the right hand side. Let’s face it, that’s a pretty good problem to have.
