• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I think Garrick has potential - pace and physical.

He has time on his side to improve but, personally, I don't think he has enough natural ball control to make it at anything above L1 level where pace & physicality can often be enough. I would love to be proved wrong. :|

Quote about Freeman from a Sheff Utd fan... sounds like he's more suited to the wing back role than full back - hopefully he'll fit in nicely here.

When Chris wilder was first appointed as Blades boss back in may,he immediately transfer listed Kieron Freeman, many thought his Blades career was over and that it was only a matter of time till he left. However,no team came in for him and when John Brayford was loaned out too Burton Albion midway through August,Kieron was given his chance:one he took with both hands. In his first couple of games back in the team he was deployed at RB however Chris wilder then changed the system to a wing-back: a position he has thrived in. He (so far) has 8 goals,is the clubs second two top goalscorer and regularly chips in with assists.

Generally where I am with him too.
