For the folk who think Hellberg is a big risk - see this and think again
Dear me - suicide - no track record or experience. Sacked as assistant. If we are crazy enough to roll the dice on an unproven lower league Spanish or Portuguese coach then Michu would the man and he would fail, like all other high risk unproven choices.

Tony Mowbray for me. Dogged, experienced and practical.

I don’t understand why so many want Gary O’Neil

Reminds me so much of Garry Monk. He hasn’t done anything to suggest he is a good manager
For me... Personally. I think if we lose out on Hellberg and left looking for scraps... Its just feels like typical us.... It would be a statement of intent if we get him. We didn't wait on getting rid of Sheehan and then appointing our first choice manager would be something. Otherwise, if not.... I would be really gutted. Gary O Neil... I would not want.

Given your track record of being right I’d get a new source

Not sure if MM's track record has declined recently, but he has been right many times in recent years. He's a good reason why so many developments are posted here first while other Swans sites are confidently claiming things that never happen.

4/5 Hellberg now, drifting like a barge, as they say at the racecourse. O'Neil back out to 16's so it looks like they've asked for their fiver back. BR has been steady at 3's all week so you never know. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

So what is the actual state of play? Rumblings that Hellberg is in Norwich which we all would have expected anyway. Doesn’t sound like anything has changed from yesterday or the day before really. I’d be very surprised if they went for Martin.

I’m not Martin’s biggest detractor, but I don’t see his extreme methods being suited to a pairing of Cabango and Burgess. I’m not sure Vigs would be 100% comfortable playing in the way Martin asks of his goalkeepers either.
This was a big part of the problem, his insistence on imposing methods on players that were totally unsuited to them or at best, clearly not comfortable with them. Look at Fisher, looks 10 times the keeper he did when he was being told to do stupid things game after game and getting all manner of abuse from us.

If he comes great, if he doesn't I'm not that bothered, just seems like another one of those managers whose teams like pretty on paper.

As long as we don't bring Voldermort back, I'm not that bothered who it is.

Ps I'd rather Gary O'Neil is given a swerve as well.

You'd think he'd learn from his time in the Premier league and Rangers that his methods don't work. He won't, of course.

More bollocks from you then. I despised the bloke when he was here and wouldn’t give a shit if we won the league under him - and that would never happen. He only squeaked a good Southampton side up via the play offs against a totally off colour Leeds side. But my objections would be more about his shit football “philosophy” even though his shithousery in ripping my club off ran a close second. I’d rather Bobbley or Duff back than that simpering bufont beard faced fraudulent c*nt.
You’re not a fan then? 🤣
