I woulda thought that Poch would have been a better choice. More flair maybe. Koeman comes across to me as being a bit like Souness, a bit dour.

Poch is a former Espanyol man. He stated in the past that he would never do it and Barca fans are not that keen on him either.

Looks like the plan is to oust the President of the club in March and bring in Font. Koeman will be just a kind of caretaker manager until Xavi arrives,

Would make sense. Seen a few suggest they want Pep to come back, could see that.
 
Koeman has his work cut out. Barcelona have lost their way, they are in debt, they are in decline having spent hundreds of millions on players who haven’t worked out, they have a dressing room full of big ego’s and they also have some big personalities in the boardroom.

Sounds kinda familiar!
