Noises.

Not impressed.

Nor me and no doubt Utd will pull him in January if we're not up there in top 6 or so.

I'll pass on the Laird myself.

Considering that we're threadbare in that position and with season looming it would be a decent signing. Knows the club, knows Martin, is a year older physically and mentally and probably wouldn't break the bank so funds could be spent elsewhere.

Yes for me.

Ajax are supposedly keen on him in a permanent.

I wonder if someone like Tony Ralston at Celtic May be a good target. 23 and 4 caps for Scotland. Is a natural RWB but has never fully settled in the starting 11 at Celtic. 28 goal involvements in 131 appearances

Ralston is absolute quality and won't be leaving Celtic anytime soon.

Fair enough, I was going off appearances, where he played in 23 league games out of 38. Was he injured a lot last year?

No fenians please

I'm surprised so many are turning thier noses up at Laird. I thought he looked quality at the beginning of the season. His form dipped which is a worry but I think that was maybe because we kept using him as the only outlet.

Christie turned out to be a cut above him, but seems we are as low in quality in that position as we are, I would take Laird back in a heartbeat.

My problem isn't with Laird, he started well but fatigue did get to him when we hit November when he was our only attacking outlet.

My beef is with United and how they pulled the plug on his loan to send him elsewhere. I hope for that reason that we don't try to bring him back.

Marcel Lavinier could be a target. Spurs 21 year old 1 year left on his contract and rejected latest offer. Was in Chelsea’s youth system too

You think we’re getting someone that rejected a Totty contract?

Yes potentially. I don’t know what his reasons were for rejecting the contract, if financial then you’re assumption is right, if wanting to ensure playing time then we may have a shout

Oxford United v Swansea City
