Last time you bought a newspaper.

Our bedtime excitement these days extends only as far as attempting Saturday's Daily Mail crossword.

£1.60 a week. I don't even read the bleedin' thing.
Buy a paper everyday, my wife likes to do the crossword and puzzles in the mail as well.

Must be a out 10 years since we had The Evening Post delivered. It was shite anyway. On monday you only had about 4 sheets. They also got rid of the Motor post and property guide, and started charging too much.
I remember when the EP had a lonely hearts section, just in front of the pets for sale and behind the second hand electrical good section 🙈

Occasionally buy the Guardian on a Saturday plus the Racing Post.

Back in my early twenties, I would be in Adelaide Street waiting for first edition of the Evening Post to be first to the race for car adverts and private house sales (which are infrequent these days).

I buy the Evening Post every Tuesday and Saturday. Before my Dad passed away last September we used to get vouchers which gave a small percentage off the charge. He used to like to read the obituaries. It's £2 a day now ffs.
