Yes you’re right, and it was also pronounced ‘paunce’ iirc.
The word appears in the dictionary as something else and cynical old me wonders if his brief will contest the slang definition to get the scumbag off. In my experience if I think of something you can guarantee that someone else has thought of it too.
 
If he meant to call him the lowest of the low then he should have used those exact words. Using the ones he did is why he's in a spot of bother. At the end of the day if he plays with fire at some point he's got to expect to get his fingers burnt.

Yes I would. And I stand by what I said.

If calling someone a bike no*** warrants 100k plus in damages to the so called injured party. Well I'm sorry that's an absolute joke, you would not get that in damages if you lost a limb in an industrial accident.

It's a bloody insult, when they talk about damages and compensation for speech wrong doings, when actual physical damage seems to be a way lot less.
