• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

You’re thinking of ponce I reckon 🤣 nonce is a prison acronym I believe.
Yes you’re right, and it was also pronounced ‘paunce’ iirc.
The word appears in the dictionary as something else and cynical old me wonders if his brief will contest the slang definition to get the scumbag off. In my experience if I think of something you can guarantee that someone else has thought of it too.

If he meant to call him the lowest of the low then he should have used those exact words. Using the ones he did is why he's in a spot of bother. At the end of the day if he plays with fire at some point he's got to expect to get his fingers burnt.

If someone were to call you something similar would you take the same viewpoint?
Yes I would. And I stand by what I said.

If calling someone a bike no*** warrants 100k plus in damages to the so called injured party. Well I'm sorry that's an absolute joke, you would not get that in damages if you lost a limb in an industrial accident.

It's a bloody insult, when they talk about damages and compensation for speech wrong doings, when actual physical damage seems to be a way lot less.
