• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Trip down memory lane here. I remember this well as a nipper. Those were the days..

Lee Bracey what a performance ,
Went to both games hard to believe we drew nil nil with the super stars in their team
The replay was an experience to visit the iconic stadium 8 nil was harsh .
Yeah, the less said about the 2nd leg the better! Great memories though. What a hero he was to me back then

I was there when we lost 5-0 away at Stockport County, first away game of the 91-92 season. He seemed to lose all confidence after that and was never the same again.

They battered us, but Keith Walker nearly won it for us near the end.
If that had gone in, surely it would’ve been one of the biggest cup upsets

Should have let that stand.
Beat (I think if my memories aren't screwed) the great Bruce Grobbelaar easily
Scousers were shouting at the coppers to leave the lad go back to our end
He displayed footwork that an outside half would have been proud of during his attempted escape.

I remember being stood on the left of the North Bank and a Liverpool cross coming over from the far side, Ian Rush leaping like a salmon, head, shoulders and waist above anyone else and missing the header by a whisker, followed by a chorus of 'ooos' along the North Bank!

Was great seeing that Liverpool team close up at that time.
Barnes was at his prime then, and probably the best player in the league at the time.
Though Des Trick at right back, had him in his pocket that day!
