• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Our sarcastic "Guard of Honour" that day - for the bent officials and cheating Leeds b@stards!! 😂
What is it about the FA Cup? That Leeds game and the Man. City home game blatantly cheated out of both. Bigger? club must get through. I was at both and still get uptight about the results.

I'm surprised Farke hasn't been thanked for his time and effort and told to farke off.

I don’t know if it’s right, but I saw a post on Facebook earlier today which stated that Leeds Utd owed £190m in transfer fees of which £73m was due for payment in the next two months. Transfer money owing to them was around £2m.
If that’s true, they could find themselves in bother going forward.

Been told he will stay by owner I believe
If it's true about the financial meltdown which is heading their way, I'd be surprised if they can afford to sack him.

Very true. Their wage bill is huge and those payments coming are massive. Summer ville, Gnonto, Gray gone and no returns for the loans you'd assume

It could be like 2007 all over again for them. Time to get the popcorn and watch it all unfold over the summer 🍿

They're in a position where they do need to sell on a large scale, but they've got a lot of players they can be getting rid of whilst remaining one of the strongest sides in the league.

They've already got £20 million coming in for Sinisterra, and they've got another six players out on loan that were regulars for clubs in the top five league.

I'd expect Archie Gray to go, there'll be interest from the very top clubs and it'd be hard to turn away a Liverpool or a Man. City if they're intent on getting him. Gnonto too I could see going, and there's bound to be top flight interest given how young he is still.

If those eight were to go, you'd be looking well above £100 million in from player sales, and they'd still have Dan James, Piroe, Bamford, Summerville and Rutter as attacking options.

Don't they owe over 100 million to other clubs for outstanding transfer fees?

Byram is drawing interest from the prem, Rodon going back to Spurs may return to Elland Rd next season, Ampadu is contracted for another 3 years and Gray will be sold.

Rutter, Summerville and Gnonto will probably leave and Anthony will return to Bournemouth.

They do have a few decent players out on loan including Poveda at Sheff Wed which they could recall for next season.

Whatever they have, the fact is that they horsed it up this season and it’ll be harder for them next year. They really blew it.

Decided to treat myself to a new tv to watch next seasons Premier league action, ordered a 70" flat screen from Curry's that arrived yesterday, opened the box to discover there were no Leeds 😔
