• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Leeds United are the latest team to be credited with interest in Swans striker Joel Piroe after speculation on social media that the Whites are considering a £20m bid for the Dutchman. First it was Leicester – although there seems there was little interest there – then it was Watford and now it’s...

They should be interested, best striker we've had since Bony 1st spell.. I think 20m and he's gone

Only link I’ve seen is from them fake journos on Twitter with about 7 followers

Wouldn't sell those lot anyone, haven't liked us since the James saga and didn't allow us to loan Greenwood etc when we tried several times.

No chance.

Any Premier League side from eighth place or below with half a brain will take a long hard look at Piroe - we simply have to accept that fact.

Quite a few will wonder if he has been a one season wonder or not and might think they will have a far stronger bargaining position next summer if he proves himself and has only one year left on his contract them.

As for Leeds interest in particular, we are in a position where we can play hardball if they really want him. We won't accept any bargain basement prices for him, at least that is the word coming from every channel at the moment after the Downes sale.

30mil to them. They didn’t stop crying about the whole Dan James thing, and then refused to loan us Greenwood and Drameh. Infact, not 30 mil, just don’t sell to them at all. F*ck’em, f*cking horrible club with horrible fans. They’re right up there with c****ff for me. As you can tell, I f*cking hate the dirty Yorkshire barstewards 😂

He’ll be gone if there’s a profit on offer and some cash to steady the ship. The club is a selling club.

Yeah I still think he will go, I’m just hoping not to Leeds.
