• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I hope he shows what he’s made of and gets up to speed by the end of the season just so we can see the type of thing he can offer us next season.
I am super cynical. Never have taken training videos evidence of what will happen on match day. I understand its what gets players chosen and what is involved. Didn't Bale, have a poor mindset to training and turned up on match day. While Ronald does it different. Not sure why I have gone off subject a bit. But you get my point.

I think training in a relaxed environment can potentially show a players ceiling, translating that to on the pitch on a game day with all the pressures that come with it is the part where the manager needs his man management skills and tactical clarity.

I think Matos will get the best out of someone like Walta who seems really technical from the clips I’ve seen in his time in Sweden.

Bit like Franco. He took his time to get used to the physical side of the championship. Walta will need to as well. Same applies to Yalcouye. We are starting to see this now. Allen and Briton both prime examples of how height can be used in the right way. Maybe they have had an influence on Yalcouye and Franco? As coaching staff.

Added to that how far he travelled and the two full games he played in 72 hours
Spot on.

It has been strange that he hasn't been given small steps by coming on in games though, it's clearly how Matos wants to deal with bedding him in.

Matos clears up what's going on with Walta. Just a matter of time for him getting up to speed and settling in to his new surroundings.

Good to hear he’s not out of favour. My lad has been following his international appearances and is adamant he should be playing. He’s probably got a point. You don’t get up to speed with the Championship without playing in the Championship. Maybe he’s not as good at pointing and being stuck in no man’s land as Cullen though. Feck knows.
