• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Rumoured to be interested, 16 goals from attacking midfield this season in the top division in Sweden. Big weak point in our team. Yes please.

He seems more attacking so if he does come it probably spells the end for Yalcouye and maybe Widell.

Idah aside, we haven’t signed anyone that has scored near that amount of goals recently. Wouldn’t say no.

Walter, Walter, Walter Walter Boyd,
We try to attack,
Pass it back,
Walter Walter Boyd.

We make these signings, then let them rot on the bench. Widdel being a prime example. Whenever I’ve seen him play, he’s given us energy and forward momentum. Ah that’s it, no wonder he’s on the bench then. He’s too far attack minded. Silly me.

A dominant box to box player to provide the link between Galbraith and Widdell is the pressing need. According to Transfermrkt he can do that too. We need a shot in the arm big time in midfield .

Think we need to stick in the domestic market for a while. Out of last 20 foreign signings how many have actually been good? 5/6?

Whereas you look at our domestic hit rate and it is significantly better.
