• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

If anyone is feeling a bit nostalgic, Greatest Hits radio is going to play the entire concert from 12pm, 🕺 https://radiotoday.co.uk/2025/06/greatest-hits-radio-to-air-full-live-aid-on-anniversary/

Edit: Just make sure you go on just Greatest Hits Radio, not one of the regional ones, just checked the schedule Queen are on at 6pm

Starting off at 12, with Status Quo, Style Council and Boomtown rats, mama Mia time to get the beer in the fridge 👍

Enjoy, looks like my plans for a day on the beer listening to this are foiled, put a few in the fridge and my plan was to pop up the shop to replenish stock, but the mood the wife is in, I darent, so it’s coffee for now. 🤬

No alcohol today for me, I'm back on the filtered water one of the best things I've done here is to fit a water filter it makes a hell of a difference.

Looks a wise move, just had a brief read of filtered v tap water, and the potential drawbacks drinking tap water, that it may contain chlorine, limescale and heavy metals. 😱

Is it fitted within the mains system on your kitchen tap?

Grow some balls.
I have a cunning plan, if my £2.50 win on Wales comes in, I’ll offer to buy her an Indian curry, and the supermarket is next door, she’ll be so excited with the curry, she won’t notice the pack of 10 lagers in my hand. 🤣

You could have made her some nice home made chicken tikka. Then you’d be on for more than just a few beers.

Darran, have you tried it yet?

Apologies, I did see it but was out all day yesterday so didn’t answer you. I have seen him before but don’t really follow him much. Misty Ricardo is my favourite, take a look at him and his YouTube channel.
