Anyone selling two tickets for Millwall, please? I'm ideally looking for an adult and an under-18 but would take two adult tickets if necessary.

They're still available on the official club site, if that helps?

I tried to get some last week but they were showing as sold out. I assume we've been allocated extra

Millwall’s system of allocating tickets is bizarre. They used to just allocate 2,000 away tickets in the upper tier. So the away fans would be safely up out of the reach of any Millwall fan. So there wouldn’t be any pitch invasions from away fans because the entrances to the lower tier would be locked. More recently Millwall have a policy now of allocating around 1,100 ticket in the lower tier. Situated in the middle section with matting at the front and sides. The lower section holds about 2,000. If that 1,100 is sold they then allocated tickets in the upper tier. Starting from the middle section and working outwards.

Some teams going to Millwall only get allocated the Upper Tier. We were only allocated the upper tier last season because it was the last home game of the season for Millwall and there was the customary pitch invasion, Wrexham were allocated the Upper tier this season and had around 2,000. Leeds usually just get the upper tier too.

Have we sold many tickets for the upper tier?
I have no idea if we had the upper tier or lower tier to sell first. From my time going there we were always put in the upper tier because they expected trouble. Twice I went to Millwall Away from my then London home and twice I nearly got put back on the London Paddington train to Swansea. I had to show my identity to be able to leave the group.

Twice I went and twice they took us around south London to London Victoria instead of London Bridge. They proceeded to escort us through the centre of Victoria Station with a police cordon either side down onto the tube. The first time they somehow managed to let off a canister of tear gas on the tube train and a lot of us had to have our eyes cleared. By London Paddington I made my exit to go home to my London abode. These pictures are from the second time I went. There were less ‘nutters’ that time I would say. I was there somewhere at the back of the group.

I’m in the bottom photo 🤣 (2007 - blimey)

I managed to get out of the police cordon before we were led down to the underground and off to Paddington.
Someone in front of me showed the police some ID with a London address and got out - maybe it was you? I tried to get out between the police and was pushed back by them.
My car was in Croydon and the train went through Selhurst - so close - before going to Victoria. I didn’t have ID but somehow managed to slip out at the top of the underground steps.
I’ve always taken my driving license with me to Millwall since that day, so I can more easily avoid being put on a train to Swansea 🤣

I managed to escape at the last minute in Paddington I did think about having a free ride back to Swansea and seeing the family and coming back up the next day. But I thought better of it. We had to be searched because they were searching everyone as some of the coppers had had their gear nicked off them when there was trouble walking back up the walkway from the ground to the Station. I couldn’t believe they made us go all round south London again and as you mentioned past Crystal Palace. 2007, but it feels like yesterday.

I remember we were held back for ages in that walkway from the ground to the station while the odd stone was thrown down from the platform. Some of our fans decided to take on the police at the front of the queue and distinctly remember police helmets being thrown in the air. We were eventually put on a train with the police mixed in amongst us with riot shields.

Yes I remember I was on the phone to my mate when the helmets started flying in the air and I likened it to the Ewoks when they attacked the storm troopers in Return of the Jedi. 😂 Especially with those gates that were closed every so often and we were taking ages to get to the platform. I also got knocked into the fence as they were running past us at the back.
