• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Second episode is much better. Scottish dwarves though. Black Scottish dwarves no less. Bloody woke etc.

I’m enjoying it all the more as I read more reactions from Tolkien obsessives banging on about everything that’s wrong with it in their nerdy little heads.

Tooks invented Golf. Therefore Hobbits are Scottish and this show is an abomination.

Yep. I’m a big fan of LOTR but I kind of kept watching on for the sake of it, to be honest. The wife was enjoying it so I carried on with it.

I think ‘meh’ probably sums it up.

House of Dragons, on the other hand…superb.

It does look great visually, but the dialog and character motivations are a bit meh. Have heard good things about House of the Dragon by comparison, haven't watched it since the end of GOT was so bad, but sounds like it could be worth it.

I enjoyed it, and Morfydd is great in it as Galadriel, but it did plod a bit....however, for a real plodder then I think House of the Dragon is a lot slower...it's just mostly political wank, with the very, very occasional jawdropper. Both very much worth a watch though....got to say I much prefer This is Wrexham....
