Not sure if we are interested but he would just be Martin MK 2.

Look at his goals for and against this season with Notts County.
I am not saying it's a great or bad shout but just putting the feelers out there for all.

Personally I feel it would be a no go for the board, would be the biggest contradiction if they were to appoint him.

To be closer to his young kids according to this:

Thank god they’ll be a whole 10 months older now.

Maybe we'll allow him to bring them in as his backroom staff. They can play with Furbies on the bench while daddy keeps the possession stats up.

He's done a tidy job at Notts County, it’s not inconceivable that the Seans and County could be in the same division next year. One club on an upward trajectory and the other potentially on a downward.

Taking your fan glasses off, would you leave Notts County for Swansea? Are the Swans such an attractive proposition that you’d either leave your family behind or uproot them and bring them down to South Wales ?

Yea ... don't think that's true, just a nice press reason for the departure so not as to tarnish any reputations in the public eye. Pretty sure he was living on Newport both while at MK and when he was with Swansea.

Nothing's nailed on in football. Notts County are only on the play off places at the moment and, when you look at the clubs above them, are likely to stay there at best by the end of the season. They score a lot of goals but concede them for fun too.
He might think to himself that it's a choice between managing a club who will be in League Two again next season, or managing a Championship club which, if he does well, could survive this season and give him a shot at the Prem next season.

I hope he isn’t, but it looks like we’ve just launched ourselves back into Martinball.

What a shambles this has been, but the cult will be happy 👍

It’s not inconceivable that we could be swapping places with them either. I guess it would be down to what are the owners like at county. That’s what would be the deal breaker for me anyway.

They've contradicted themselves every single time they've appointed a new manager, so that won't stop them doing it again if they felt that way inclined.

People in football are notoriously disloyal, don't know Williams's character but he may well feel that the chance to jump two divisions and get a hefty pay rise is too good to turn down.

But if I was him, I'd stay put. This club is going nowhere in a hurry, and he'd be working for (and having to tolerate every day) absolute tw4ts. One phone call to his mate at Southampton would surely crystallise that for him.

He would have been the ideal choice straight after Martin for continuity and type of players we had. Not so sure now, plus don't forget that he has been here before under Martin so knows the club and the way it is run. That's probably enough to put him out of the running.

That's the big thing isn't it, he's been here before so he knows what the owners are like - although he hasn't had the 'pleasure ' of dealing with Coleman!

Or to Cooper; or to Potter; or to Guidolin come to that. They are most managers' worst nightmare. My money would probably be on Nat Jones now and a further descent into a lower circle of the inferno.

I honestly can't see even ratface taking the gig now after the Davies debacle mate...
