• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Liam Walsh starts v Watford. Let's see if he lasts 90 mins either injured or dismissed again.

I think Luton will stay up and a win today will drag the diffs deeper into trouble

Wouldn't worry, as long as either Plymouth/Derby catch em, then they can terrorise league 1 next season.

Matt Bloomfield probably regretting his move to Luton last month. Wycombe on course to replace Luton in the Championship next season. Went from a feel good club on the rise winning games to the doom and gloom of a probably relegated Luton.

I guess the money must be good.

His fitness record for Luton has been better than he managed in any of his 3 seasons with us, doesn't say much for our medical team

A year ago they were making a spirited effort to stay in the Premier league.

Wycombe had news owners last year who (whisper it quietly) want to follow a data-led model, they didn't look to change Bloomfield's contract as he did well, Luton matched his £100K release clause and that was it. Wycombe's new Director of football got to make his own appointment and Bloomfield went to a board that was fully behind him.

Yeah, that’s a stupid move for him. A bigger club than Wycombe (but not a remotely big club), but he could have done much better if he’d taken Wycombe up. Andy Robinson-esque. Or de Vries-esque if you’ve prefer. I wouldn’t want any of them picking my lottery numbers.

Oh, and Walsh is crap.
