Swans boss Russell Martin says walking away from the club after deadline day was never a thought of his as he spoke for the first time this morning following that dreadful transfer window. Fans across social media were suggesting that the former Norwich defender could leave his position after the owners...

Martin showing more balls than some of our cry baby fans.
The sense of entitlement with some of you is staggering, grow up, three points against the blue noses tomorrow👍

First minute. He's not relaxed at all.

He's fuming. Gone in the summer no doubt, agent probably speaking to other parties as we speak.

He won't leave, it's a win win for him here, zero pressure to do well, owners who don't care, hell sign a new contract

I've got to give credit where it's due.

He was really put on the spot, in answering for the club and not just as a coach.

Thought he handled it very well.

He didn't seem optimistic about Paterson. He said it's down to him.

I don't think you can blame Martin regarding the recruitment issue. Martin and Josh went through the process of identifying and speaking with players. They are frustrated with the recruitment process. Even though a player maybe interested in joining it still needs Jason's approval. The decision making is taking far too long, and in some cases circumstances can change.

No, it's down to him to manage the situation and get him playing football ASAP, it's what both parties are being paid handsomely for...

Like many, I have been critical of RM's playing style and some post match comments, but I also give credit where it is due. He came across as genuinely peed off and downhearted and I do not doubt his sincerity. RM's various comments to the effect that matters were out of his hands ring true. The buck(s) stop with the Americans.

He hasnt done anything wrong here and he still can't escape snide remarks 🤮

Winter in his programme notes keeps it short and sweet....

Doesn't seem to be wanting to apologise and doesn't sound particularly happy. 'Frustrating' and 'disappointing'.
