And all the players were born within a stone’s throw from Celtic Park.
Just a point of order. I was told when I was working in in Weedgieland that Billy McNeil wasn't actually born, but forged from a block of pure granite.

Be interesting to see if Lissah or Wilson get a look in. Lissah you would think would be a cert to feature heavily in pre-season at least. Wilson maybe less so. Lissah may be able to do two of those jobs you mention.

For me the biggest gap is a ball playing CB. If we're going to play a higher tempo game, then we need to move possession out of that deep triangle (between Cabango, Burgess and usually Stamenic) far quicker than we currently do.

Otherwise we may be surprised about who moves in and out. Certainly Matos appears to be a bigger fan of some players than us lot on the forums.
Irrelevant on anyone's opinion on Indy and I'm not debating with anyone one if you like them or not. They did a very good report last week on each player. Worth a read.

From someone who takes an interest in Scottish football here's my take.
Lissah:absolutely ripping it up with the Bairns, will definitely be involved with the first team next season.
Wilson: Was a regular starter, lasting about an hour before usually getting subbed, starting on the bench more now, another loan next season most probably.
Congreve: Another who's pulling up trees at Dundee, a lot of eyes will be on him next season. Squad player at least.
Cotterill: Starting every game and impressing, perhaps another loan next season.

There you go, an eyeball account on each player in a hundred or so words and no reliance on FotMob 👍

Fab insight. If we had Congreve back what position would you say he would compete with. Under his very brief time with us I believed he tried the Ronald role.

Right wing, had a great game for Dundee v Celtic a couple of months ago, won man of the match. Have a look at this effort in injury time to grab a point v Hibs two week's ago...

I agree on Lissah, although I’ve not seen enough of him (seems to be getting very good reviews though). Assuming Santos is moved on we’re down to 4 senior defenders, plus Sam Parker who definitely needs a loan move!

100% on a footballing centre half being needed as well.

the bigger problem will be hanging onto the top goal scorer and our versitile midfeilder, if the club are REALLY intent on getting to the promised land those two need to be kept, BUT with the financial limits the rules permit one or even both may have to be sold unfortunatly, the coaching team are doing a good job in my opinion with a very disjointed arrival no preseason and thrown into what was a situation with us sliding down the table, the improvement is there for all to see but still lots of hard work to be done , the game friday will show me if the way things are going if Swansea are currently in a position to match the sides around and above us for the rest of this season, so onwards ond upwards for me
No doubt that replacing one or both of Vipotnik and Galbraith will be very important, but I’d like to think plans will be in place for the other positions irrespective of whether they leave:.

Obviously if they are sold for significant fees we may be shopping in a different market.

That's proper believable ITK insight - for the discerning intelligent adult who appreciates good ol' honest ITK insight, fair play

Hearing tho that Lissah has always been regarded as a long shot for our 1st team - and from seeing him in action, I couldn't agree more
