• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Proper gem to unleash our richly assembled, hugely talented latent gems

Exciting times

#Next Level …..

? The difference in little over a month from Sheehan is incredible. Add to that he has to pick confidence off the floor. Care to disagree or shall we never be positive?
Not disagreeing with you.
I just find it funny that you were moaning like hell on the matchday thread and then come out with this post.
Not having a pop just found it funny 😁

I remain very wary that we might still be in new manager bounce territory, but, one thing in all his games so far is the level of aggression and intensity without the ball has gone through the roof. Put simply, we work so much harder to get it back when we lose it, and we are doing it higher up the pitch as well. I probably like that more than anything else he's done so far.

If we could just add some quality in the final third...

I suspect he is the gem, a cut above a lot of our squad..he can but get the best out of them (which it seems he might be, effort wise at least)..and hopefully he can get some quality in along the way, getting rid of Ronald and the like.

Funny enough I actually don't think we had the usual manager bounce. I think he has come in and slowly implemented the basics again and added more intensity. Considering he didn't have his coaching staff until recently, he has done well. I think he is slightly handcuffed by the lack of quality in certain areas, such as RB. With a summer window and status in the Championship, some weeks I think we can build and start working to be on the fringe.

Goal attempts are far more numerous under Vitor
Anyone know our stats and how much they have improved? I'm curious to see the up turn. As Under Sheehan we was the lowest in every stat. I imagine we have massively improved.
