• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Our intention to try and score has increased markedly.
I said it elsewhere but the hardest thing to do when a side's confidence is down and the goals dry up is convincing your players that it's alright to have a pop rather than just passing the buck on to someone else. Matos seems to be doing alright in that respect

It also always easier to have more freedom going forward and take more pot shots when you aren't leaking lots of soft goals at the back, which Matos has managed to stop for the most part.

I remain very wary that we might still be in new manager bounce territory, but, one thing in all his games so far is the level of aggression and intensity without the ball has gone through the roof. Put simply, we work so much harder to get it back when we lose it, and we are doing it higher up the pitch as well. I probably like that more than anything else he's done so far.

If we could just add some quality in the final third...
Someone has learnt their lesson.
