When Hull City arrived at the Vetch on May 3 2003 it was always going to be a pivotal moment in the history of Swansea City but one that we, as fans, hoped was for all the right reasons. Almost twenty years on now I wonder what the future would have held had the result […]

Great memories of a great day, but the more I watch those highlights, the more I think our second penalty decision was very dodgy! We'd never get that one today. Phew!

We would with 10,000 screaming fans and the whole North Bank in uproar :D

Honestly at 1-2 I thought it was done. I couldn't get back so had to wait for radio updates as couldn't get a commentary neither. It was agonising. The last time I'd seen us was home to Exeter and we looked cooked after that. I remember feeling physically sick.

I have a similar feeling today given all hat we've thrown away. After that it was such a feeling of 'never again' in terms of having the club at the mercy of the likes of Petty. And yet here we are again, totally in play and totally at the mercy of events and all the aspirations and optimism of fan ownership tossed away by those that all promised not to.

Sad, no, unforgivable, but there's no option but to look ahead.

When we went back to the car after the Exeter game, we thought the same and 'cheered ' ourselves up with all the non league grounds we could go to😁
A couple of days before the Rochdale game decided to see our last away game In the league. Then came the Hull game with all the mixed emotions.
Not sure how I feel about next season as, are key players staying, and a massive change In how we defend and a better balance of risk taking.
At the moment I just feel as 3 wasted seasons with no positivity looking forward

Yeah, Rochdale is often forgotten with what happened a week later. James Thomas taken off for Mark Richards half way through the second half and he scored with what was probably his first touch and we hung on…

I remember exactly where I was for that Rochdale game - Universal Studios in Florida calling home at around 1230 to find out the score - shortest but happiest call of the holiday!

The memory often trips me up but I do seem to remember it took ages for the ball to cross the line.

Cutlers save when we were 2-1 down was absolutely massive, if we had conceded another then it probably would have been curtains.

You're spot on, me and my mate Phil drove up from Hereford to see the match that day. The ball literally trickled over the line for that goal. My main memory of the day is Kris O'Leary at the final whistle running over to us Swans fans in the side stand and jumping into the crowd in celebration. We were going bananas!
