Mate of mine, never drank alcohol in his life, liked to take cocaine practically all weekend, his business i suppose, until he smashed his car into another car doing 70mph on Fairwood Common resulting in himself, his then partner and the occupant of the other car spending some time in Morriston Hospital, could have been far worse though.
He hasn’t touched it for years since.

So yes, unfortunately, drug use does have consequences outside of football.

This doesn't sound like a big deal to me. He consistently took cocaine and was rightfully sacked by Cardiff. Warnock at Middlesbrough has signed him, and he might (and it's a big 'might' but it could happen) be playing in the Premier League next year. So what?
