• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Aye, wasn't that supposed to be a lot to do with his partying with Leroy Lita?

Not sure about Lita, but he was constantly partying with them Geordie Shore boys.
And I know for a fact those boys love some sherbet. I've been in the same company šŸ˜‚

Apparently he attempted to string a few passes together with the ball on the ground...instead of goofing it....there fire playing football and s breach of contract

Looks as though he's allegedly been involved in a car accident whilst allegedly under the influence Two people seriously injured

Can't see that. Firstly the media would have got this information, and secondly CCFC would have to wait for court proceedings to be completed before terminating his contract. At a guess, i'd say it has to be a very serious internal matter, though what that is who knows.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing cocaine ban: Live updates as reason for Cardiff City sacking revealed

Judging by how that lot conduct their code of morals/ethics, I'm surprised he's not lourded over.

Taking the Cardiff blinkers off for a second, I do believe that people deserve second chances. If he is able to turn his life around and leave the devil's sugar behind then I will tip my hat to him.

Supposedly has a good friend called Charlie...

Don’t think you’d sack one of your best players for that. Send him on ā€œrehabilitationā€ courses etc to let it blow over, if it’s PED’s then that’s different.

Exactly. Cocaine isn't a "performance enhancing" drug. He's an idiot but best wishes to him.

Mate of mine, never drank alcohol in his life, liked to take cocaine practically all weekend, his business i suppose, until he smashed his car into another car doing 70mph on Fairwood Common resulting in himself, his then partner and the occupant of the other car spending some time in Morriston Hospital, could have been far worse though.
He hasn’t touched it for years since.

So yes, unfortunately, drug use does have consequences outside of football.

This doesn't sound like a big deal to me. He consistently took cocaine and was rightfully sacked by Cardiff. Warnock at Middlesbrough has signed him, and he might (and it's a big 'might' but it could happen) be playing in the Premier League next year. So what? Credit to Warnock for giving him a second chance. FFS he's in his twenties.

Someone on here said we was looking at him and Cooper was impressed by how he's managed himself.
