Hard to argue with this, as there’s some right bellends around. I’ve never understood why people are more interested in goading the opposition fans than watching the game.
“Dear Supporter,
We are contacting you as a season ticket holder in the North Stand, which is situated close to the visiting supporters at the Swansea.com Stadium.
We thank you for your continued support and being a huge part of the Jack Army. Unfortunately, we have witnessed some supporters in this area who are endangering their own safety, and that of fellow supporters and stewards, by surging and migrating towards the segregation line during matches.
Ensuring everyone can enjoy matches safely is the club’s number one priority. To help ensure this we are taking this opportunity to remind supporters in this particular area of the stadium that they need to stay in their assigned seat and not block stairwells or surge towards the away supporters. If our supporters do not voluntarily stop this behaviour the club may be left with no option except to close the relevant seating blocks. We are asking for your co-operation so that we do not end up in that unwanted situation.
Once again, we thank you for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you tomorrow for our clash against Bristol City at 12:30pm.”
