Taking a step back for a minute. My view is very much there should be ZERO boats coming over the channel.

This should have been gripped a long time ago by the tories who are shamefully exploiting the issue with their friends from reform for political reasons.

As I mentioned earlier in thread you’ll be talking about a tiny fraction of the public that would be comfortable with allowing all these people in on boats.

But as a civilised Country we have a duty to take some people in as refuge. Again as I mentioned the Afghans who helped British troops for example.

We are drip drip moving towards a returns deal that will mean every one landing in UK will be returned to France similar to the Dublin agreement which was existed while we were in the EU! No boats before 2016..

So it is a big issue and it needs tackling. But we won’t be able to tackle it unless we work across border and recognise we have to play our part and that means taking some people in who have LEGAL right to remain.

Now if you don’t agree with that I think you’re prejudiced and that’s my central point. Go back decades this is a solid actually centre right position. The Country has moved so far on this issue because of mass propaganda and misinformation.

Immigration is an element within all of this and it’s both positive and negative.

But is this the reason for the productivity issues we’re having the declining birth rate and older population?

There are many many people who are concerned by levels of immigration (including myself) but there is a growing section of society that fixate and drift into casual racist tropes. They don’t like getting called out on it but we all know them. The same people who then say it’s not racist to talk about it. Ffs that’s all you ever bloody do!!!

Other than people close to you, you have no idea about the political motivations of the British public. There are countless hard working UK families who live close to the poverty line, and who are aggrieved at how consecutive governments have poured billions into immigration related topics, before looking after the welfare of UK citizens. Whether this is a right or wrong view is not up for debate, but it certainly does not make these families racist.

Do you really have respect for racists? You might want to rethink that statement.

The last comment about white people annoying you was just silly. The UK population is greater than 80% white and large pockets of non-white are centered around West Yorkshire, Leicester, Luton, South London. Therefore unless you spend large amounts of time in these places then it's hardly surprising that white folk annoy you more than any other race.
