I could’ve told you that a while ago.

Balls. I was fully expecting the game to be cancelled but my hopes were rising with the increased talk of 'behind closed doors' games taking place.

Fans are still allowed in in England, am I correct? Losing track now.

It's not called off for fan safety issues, it's off because too many Millwall players have tested positive.

I know, but I thought that it was less likely that the game is called off due to players testing positive rather than not wanting thousands of fans to congregate. Probably not true at the moment with Omicron anyway.

Shambles, get them all postponed for a month.

Some clubs are going to be disadvantaged by time, with these individual postponements.

Absolutely time to suspend things for a while. We particularly stand to lose out badly financially by having to play games with no fans present.

With the international breaks and the two postponed games does it mean training has caught up with the disrupted pre season? 🤔

Indeed. The next few games will be no excuses anyway. Cant lose 4 or 5 (or 6 😱) in a row mid season and blame anyone but manager and players. Especially as all three lost games so far were eminently winnable and chucked away.

The time has come to see all the talk show up consistently on the pitch now.

This post is probably one for another thread maybe. But I find it strange that last boxing day we had more or less full fixture list compared to the 20 odd and counting postponments we have this year so far! And thats after a full year of the vaccine being in full swing all year compared to us being without it this time last year. What I dont understand more so is the whole of europe and the world are still playing football games I aint noticed any other games being off! And that after the uk I thought was supposed to be leading the way in the roll out of the vaccine which dont add up and is so annoying to say the least! Whose to say next year wont follow suit and there be another variant this time next year disrupting this special time of year and an important part of peoples traditions watching either at the game or from a far over the xmas period. It is what it is but my point is I dont understand how we can be in a worse position than we were this time last year after all the lockdowns and the jabs and the passports.

That would be too sensible.
