I wrote that post on 23rd June.

On 24th July (yesterday) my MIL fell asleep for the last time in the afternoon. We are grateful that she did not suffer as much as she potentially could have but how life can change so quickly. A dreadful dreadful disease (as I said in the OP a complete b*stard of an illness) that has taken away a wife, mother, grandmother and aunty in such a short period of time)

RIP Anne, we will never forget you

Thoughts go to you and the family, Phil, can't imagine what you're all going through right now.

Deepest condolences to you and your loved ones at this very difficult time. I can remember reading your original post and my heart sank thinking that another family is going to have to go through what we’d recently gone through - I lost my father after a very short illness a month before your original post. The sense of loss is enormous but if there’s one thing we can take comfort from it’s that he didn’t suffer a great deal. Stay strong.
